This was the third mill to be built on the Turners Falls Company canal, and began operations in 1873. In 2017, the Museum of Our Industrial Heritage obtained a 'copy book' of Keith's outgoing correspondence. These copies were made by sponging some ink from the original penned letters, into a thin page of a bound volume. In this way, Keith was able to keep a record of what he had written and sent out to others.
