Lookin' northeast from the Lower or "White" Suspension Bridge (1872-1936) that crosses the Connecticut River and stitches the Town of Greenfield to the village of Turners Falls, in the Town of Montague, MA. We see the west exposure of two paper mills. The further one is the Keith Paper mill (1871-1953) and the one forward is the Esleeck Manufacturing Company (1900-2006). -Post mark 1914.

From left to right in this west exposure we see the Turners Falls Paper Compnay and partially hidden by the tree line is the Griswold or Turners Falls Cotton Mill. The building to the right-rear, is the tenement complex for the Griswold mill. Post mark 1911.

Exposed to the east, the Keith Paper Mill runs along canal before before the canal's widening and lengthening. The railroad track at the mill is the B&M RR. The New Yrok, New Haven & Hartford track is along the east side of the canal. Post Mark 1911.
