- The 11th Street Bridge east portal(s). This is one of the most bizarre bridges ever to be encountered. a "triple-barreled through truss" which refers to the three portals that this bridge has, one for each of the two sidewalks, and a third for the roadway. - Description:
- The South End School is now a Parent-Child Development center. Fondly known by the locals as the "Patch School", it had its beginnings in 1879 as a one-story school. As the "Patch" population grew so did the school house. In 1885 a second and final story was added. It had four classrooms.
