March 20, 5 (1875) -- Friend Bentley -- I find that you have fallen into the habit of the former managers of the N.L&N.RR and are only making semi monthly trips to NY. It takes us just about two weeks to get Rags & etc from that point. Not that we care anything about this inconvenience but the interest accruing in transit just about eats the goods up. -- Unless there is some slight possibility of improvement in regard to time we shall have to buy an old horse and do our own transportation and slide the goods home on skids - Either; -- **Read the next page of this letter**; New London & Northern RR
