dc.descriptionAug 7, 83 [1883] -- Friend Pagenstecher, -- I have decided to give up the Miller River scheme. -- I have been fearful that it might overload me and render me unfit for duty there or at the Keith mill. In that case it would have been better to let well enough alone. Besides there are some complications in regard to the land water titles that I do not like that may possibly make trouble in the future. -- Yours Truly -- John Keith --
