June 4 5 (1875) -- Bulkley Dunton Co. -- Gentlemen -- “The mountain labored and brought fourth a mouse” -- I could do nothing with R K & Co They decline to take the $5,000 loan and A N positively declines to renew his endorsement on the notes -- We did however partly promise to endorse the one at Fitchberg of $24,000 and kindly invited me to visit him and go fishing – The Franklin Saving Bank agreed to reduce rate to 7pc and I shall let that loan remain with substituting C T Crocker's name with A.
