dc.description | Feby. 4, 81 [1881] -- My dear Weston, -- I have a niece Kate M. Shumway whose father W.J. Shumway is a merchant in Webster, Worcester Co. She is very desirous of attaining a situation as copyist in some one of the offices in the State House. Mr. Bishop Prest of the Senate has kindly permitted her to refer to him and suggests to her making application to the Tax Commissioner as there may possibly be a chance in his office if a new valuation is made. Will you please be kind enough to let her refer to you if necessary and greatly oblige Yours truly. -- John Keith -- | |
