Dec. 28 -- th, -- 5 [1885] -- Hon. Byron Weston -- Dear Sir, -- Yours of the 24th was duly received. I am sorry to learn that the magnets are not giving satisfaction, but I gather from your letter that you like the idea but are not satisfied that the apparatus is properly efficient. It has worked very satisfactorily for the Keith Paper Co. for four years and I think it ought to do as well for you. It is possible that it is not properly arranged or magnetized and I will go to your place next Monday or Tuesday and look at it and see where the trouble is. -- It will not be convenient for me to come sooner. -- Yours Truly -- C.M.
